Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for an environmental Health and Safety Coordinator for a manufacturing company based in The Meadville Pa area.
Position: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm
Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 BOE

EHS COORDINATOR - This is an opportunity to play a key role in the design and implementation of world class EHS systems as we work towards Mission Zero!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:
Assists the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager in the overall
EHS process implementation
Assists in developing systems to drive compliance, continuous injury
reduction and environmental performance
Trains employees and line leaders in EHS responsibilities
Serve as a resource to leaders and plant safety teams
Champion for Mission Zero culture
Maintains required EHS record keeping, training, scheduling of
training
Acts as a compliance point of contact for EHS departments
Maintains working knowledge of federal, state and local
environmental, health and safety regulations and identify all requirements that
apply, or may apply to the organization
Assists the EHS Manager with compliance to all OSHA/EPA Federal and
State Regulations and supports compliance of ISO-14001 certification pertaining
to company operations.
Assists in the review of EHS policies, conducts hazard and risk
assessments towards the identification and mitigation of risks
Assists in the development, review and conducts EHS related training
Assists in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and action
item closure tracking
Demonstrates knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety
Management Systems
Participate in continuing professional education, staying current
and competent in the respective EHS profession.
Reports all exceptions and non-compliance immediately to EHS Manager

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or
EDUCATION / DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

BS in Safety Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
Experience in EHS or related field within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and related regulations and procedures
Proficiency in all MS Office applications
Technical aptitude
Lean manufacturing and Root cause analysis experience desirable
1 year minimum experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
